Palace exec backs call to bar 'Da Vinci Code' showing in RP

As a devout Catholic, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said the controversial "Da Vinci Code" movie should be barred from exhibition in the country as it is "blasphemous and might imprint wrong ideas on some Catholic members particularly the young". Ermita, in expressing his personal views, said the Movie and Television Regulatory and Classification Board (MTRCB) might like to look at its guidelines in considering the screening of the film.
