Hailed as a gripping page-turner and derided in turn as trashy fiction based on mumbo-jumbo, The Da Vinci Code is now to become the subject of a course at Trinity College Dublin. In a move sure to delight many fans, a series of evening classes will explore the novel's claim that Jesus Christ fathered a child.
